Dreamcast Iso Forum
I decided to play some dreamcast in my laptop as a 'portable dreamcast' to play when I'm not at home, but I notice that a lot of the emulators are really outdated, with no official update in years. which is weird, the console is popular, so I figure the community would have constantly made updates to the emulator to make it more stable. (maybe they have, I just haven't found the right forum) So I was wondering, what emulator do you guys recommend to play dreamcast games? I tried nullDC 1.04, but the music glitches horribly in chuchu rocket and when I try to play sonic adventure the graphics and the level glitch out (by level glitch I mean, sonic would walk out of the emerald coast loop (before the whale) and fall to his death. or the road before reaching tails crashed plane, he would go through the fence and just fall to the water) and all I'm doing is just push forward... he still dies. Edit: I mentioned sonic adventure as an example of the emulator glitching. I have the dreamcast version and the original 2004 pc version, So when I say that the game was glitching, I meant it was glitching more than normal. Here's a small clip I recorded
Dreamcast Iso Forums
Have dreamcast games become abandon ware and is it legal to distribute them? Depending on who youre replying to, floele, both my car stereos support it, but when I use CDBurnerXP, neither of them display the artists name. When I burn a cd using my Debian Linux boxes and K3B, it displays artists name and the name of the songs, every time. Be expanded though. 1ST_READ.bin would be that file. If you can move the text to somewhere else in the file than it should be possible. I don't see why that file couldn't be expanded, this is Dreamcast after all:P (since you have to rebuild the ISO after making changes instead of replacing files in the ISO).
